PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 29, 2015 – Green Circle Health (GCH) announced that it was selected as one of twelve semi-finalist entrepreneurial health care firms for Mayo Clinic’s inaugural THINK BIG Challenge, which received more than 130 applicants from across the country.
Sponsored by Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation (CFI), Mayo Clinic Ventures and AVIA Health Innovations, the THINK BIG Challenge is a national competition offering awards totaling $100,000 for entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to transform the future of health and healthcare. Submissions were accepted for two categories, “Got Health?,” which focuses on facilitating ongoing healthy lifestyle maintenance and risk factor monitoring, and “I Am Not My Disease,” which addresses access to health data, health literacy and behavior modification. Semi-finalists, finalists and winners of the THINK BIG Challenge will be recognized at Mayo Clinic CFI’s Transform 2015 conference on Oct. 1 in Rochester, Minn.
